At S J Thompson Builders Ltd we undertake a wide range of domestic/residential work including refurbishments, renovations, restorations, conversions, extensions and alterations. By its very nature refurbishment and renovation work can be unpredictable, we are experienced at dealing with such occurrences and over the years we have completed many projects covering buildings of all ages and sizes.
As well as working on modern building projects we also undertake work on listed buildings. Building work on listed and very old buildings is a task best conducted by those who understand the unique requirements involved. A main characteristic of these types of building is that nothing is standard, for example even the type of cement is different. Our skilled tradesmen and bespoke carpenters can construct and manufacture everything in exactly the same way as the original so maintaining a true restoration.
